Attending Local Schools

We visit schools to educate the next generation on the importance of honey bees and inspire them to take part in the preservation of pollinators within our community.

With your support and assistance, the Beekeeper's Guild of Santa Barbara is able to carry on programs like this.

Education is Vital

We educate children about bees and create programs to build connections between bee health and habitat, planting bee friendly, and how bees play an important role in the variety of food that we consume.

We do not charge a fee for this program, though the Guild does appreciate donations as our ability to continue with this program depends in large measure on the donations we receive.

Local Visits

We have attended many local schools and look forward to attending more, to educate the next generation on the importance of bees.  Send us a message to schedule a visit!

If your school is listed below, we may already have a program in place to come out and visit your school.

  • Aliso Elementary School
  • Canalino Elementary School
